Will Davison is one of Australia’s elite V8 Supercar stars and among this country’s most accomplished racing drivers.
Third in the 2013 V8 Supercar Championship and top Ford driver home, winner of the 2009 Bathurst 1000 and runner up in the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship for Holden, Will became the first big name driver to shift to one of the new manufacturer teams for 2014.
He raced with the Erebus AMG Mercedes Benz team and while it was a challenging year developing the new German racer, there were plenty of signs of great potential for the 2015 season.
Along with 16 Championship race wins at the sport’s highest level, Will also racked up the V8 Supercar Pole Position award for the most number of fastest Qualifying times during the 2012 season.
Personable, presentable and professional, Will Davison raced for Australia in A1GP, tested for Formula 1 team Minardi, and won races in British Formula 3 and Formula Renault, before switching to V8 Supercars in 2005.
Since then he’s been a regular front runner and race winner, and is today one of the superstars of V8 Supercar racing.
Racing is certainly in Will Davison’s blood.
Will has followed on from his late grandfather Lex Davison (who won the Australian Grand Prix on four occasions in the 1950s and ‘60s), his championship winning father Richard and his elder brother Alex, to share the family passion for racing.
Look for Will’s #9 Erebus Mercedes Benz-AMG E63 in the V8 Supercar events of 2015.
