Will Davison - V8 Supercar Driver

Will Davison is one of Australia’s elite Supercar stars and among this country’s most accomplished racing drivers.

That was confirmed once again in spectacular fashion when Will took his Tekno Autosports Holden Commodore, shared by team owner Jon Webb, to a spectacular victory in the 2016 Bathurst 1000.

It was the culmination of a brilliant first season with the tiny Tekno team, Will going on to finish an outstanding fifth in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship beating many of the big teams.

His 2016 certainly season underlined Will’s year-on-year competitiveness.

Will’s Supercars career also includes victory in the 2009 Bathurst 1000 for the Holden Racing Team, for whom he finished second in the Championship the same season.

He was also third in the 2013 Championship for Ford Performance Racing, the first Falcon driver home in the points chase.

Will now boasts an impressive 19 Supercar Championship race wins since he joined the Australian series in 2005.

Personable, presentable and professional, Will Davison’s CV includes victories in the Australian Formula Ford Championship, and in in British Formula 3 and Formula Renault.

He also raced for Australia in the global A1GP series, as well as testing for the Minardi Formula 1 team.

Racing is certainly in Will Davison’s blood.

Will has followed on from his late grandfather Lex Davison (who won the Australian Grand Prix on four occasions in the 1950s and ‘60s), his championship winning father Richard and his elder brother Alex, to share the family passion for racing.

Look for Will’s #19 Tekno Autosports Holden Commodore at the front of the Supercars field again in 2017.
