POLAR PAIRS UP WITH WILL DAVISON

LEADING SUPERCAR driver Will Davison joins an impressive list of international sports people who are ambassadors for leading wearable fitness technology company, Polar Electro.

Last year’s Bathurst winner, Davison is expected to pilot his Woodstock Tekno Autosports Commodore towards the pointy end of the field in this year’s Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

“We’re hoping to do more giant-killing this year with highly-experienced engineer Campbell Little now on board, plus we’ll again be able to draw on the technical expertise of the sport’s most successful team, with whom we share a garage, Triple Eight,” said Davison who finished fifth in last year’s Championship.

A keen triathlete when he isn’t on the race track, Davison is impressed with the accuracy and in-depth analysis his Polar products provide him with.

“As the originators of wearable fitness technology, no-one has more knowledge of how to measure and monitor athlete performance than Polar.

“Accurate data from my Polar enables me to measure my fitness and performance throughout my daily training, and then adapt that training to improve my fitness where I need to.

Polar Electro Australia MD Drew Oryszczyn is excited to welcome Will to the Polar team:
“We are excited to add Will to our global motorsport program – which includes Carrera Cup in Australia and Europe as well as in motocross and Nascar in North America.

“Leading Australian sporting outfits like Volleyball Australia and Sydney FC are already benefiting immensely with Polar’s professional 24/7 tracking solutions, on and off the field,” said Oryszczyn.

Polar products are used by leading international athletes such as triathlon world champion Javier Gomez and elite Ironman Terenzo Bozzone.
